I’ve heard of a woman who took up bike riding after losing a close friend in a car accident. Or someone who soaked their burn wounds with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, three times a day, for a quicker recovery. I, also, have known someone that has taken up drinking until they can’t remember days at a time after losing their job. The question, I’d love to discuss is: What does Healing Look Like? Some people, respond on this topic with a belief that treatment is “good enough” for most things. In fact, there are a plethora of conspiracy theories about how the Western Hemisphere’s approach to medicine is one of awareness that more money is made by continuing to treat people rather than curing them. Although, I wouldn’t argue that such schools of thought are merely theories, I am not sure about this possibly being true of countries surrounding the US. I believe, whole-heartedly, as I stated in my debut book, Healing! Still the Best Cure. -The Key of Love with Brittany Soul. And whether you believe cures are just as, if not more important than treatment, or not-my question for you as a human is What exactly does Healing Look like? Is it fast or slow? Is it temporary or permanent? Does it entail counseling, medicine, hypnosis?!? …We could go on. The Truth is, there is not one way to Heal. However, I’d love to share my thoughts on holistic health, that I approach within my life. Healing is a Process. Processes do not specify pace. There are no long-lasting shortcuts in Spiritual, Physical, Mental or Emotional Healing…if you’re doing it right! The goal is for the healing process to be effective. {What is better than looking cute? Being Whole. – Brittany Soul. Healing will entail Spiritual agreement. No matter the area, in which, healing is necessary, your spirit will either chose to agree or not. We may think, for example, forgiveness is merely a matter of words, but if 5 years after you’ve uttered “I forgive you”, you are still suffering from the offense inside? You have not Forgiven. Note: It would only be responsible of me to add that forgiving someone doesn’t mean that you must allow them the same access to you or your heart. But it is important to release the energy associated with the offense, as soon and completely as you can. May your spirit agree! Healing is a Beautifier. Let me tell you! If you’ve ever seen an ex that you’ve done wrong, years after your break-up, that has not only moved on, but appears extremely happy, healthy and at peace? The most effective point in this scenario is that, when you speak to this ex and they respond with kindness…Yeah, true healing will have that affect. I encourage True Healing for everyone. It looks good on you! Healing channels God’s Love through you. If you are given another day on Earth to breathe, make a difference, love, and inspire someone-Know that it is because the Most High has a purpose for you. The Light shining through you is not your own. It was meant to be shared. You are your best, when you reflect that Love, Light and Power.
